ShadoCon 2015 is upon us and we are super excited to be there! This year Austin, Ben, Joey, Nikki, and Sy will be attending all 3 days (Fri – Sun, Nov. 6th – Nov. 8th). We have some pretty exciting things planned for this year’s ShadoCon.
Free T-Shirts for Everyone!*
Well, as long as we have t-shirts to give out (around 75). We will be handing out t-shirts throughout the weekend, if you would like one just come up and ask one us and if we have one on us it’s yours! For the most part we will all be wearing our Frosted Gaming branded lab coats so we should be fairly easy to spot.
We will, of course, also be giving away t-shirts at both of our panels (more information on those below). So make sure you attend those if you want an extra chance to snag a t-shirt.
If you aren’t able to get a t-shirt this weekend don’t worry! They will be available for sale on TeeSpring after ShadoCon.
Panel Schedule
Frosted Gaming is super excited that we will be hosting two panels at this year’s ShadoCon. If all goes well tech wise both panels we be streamed (on Twitch, HitBox, and YouTube) and saved online.
Friday 11PM Let’s Play Games with Frosted Gaming! – Warm up for the weekend by playing some games with Frosted Gaming and the rest of the panel audience. We will be playing Fibbage, Quiplash, and Super Smash Bros. so bring your 3DS and get ready for a good time!
This is an R rated panel, so unfortunately you will have to be 18 to attend. ShadoCon will require you to present your ID before being admitted to the panel.
Saturday 4PM Becoming Famous on the Internet by Frosted Gaming – Come listen to Frosted Gaming pretend like they have the faintest clue they know what they’re doing. The whole crew will talk about their experiences with Frosted Gaming and how we’ve grown over the last year and since our last panel. Good times and laughs are to be had!
This panel is open for everyone so no matter what age come hangout!
Giveaways
We will also be having a couple of giveaways at ShadoCon. All you have to do to enter is post a picture of you wearing the Frosted Gaming T-shirt on instagram using the hashtags #FrostedGaming and #ShadoCon. On Sunday we will do a drawing (with the help of Random.org) from all the accounts that posted at least 1 picture on Instagram with those hashtags. More information about the giveaways will be announced over the weekend and at the panels.
Other Stuff
To prepare for ShadoCon we have completely revamped the Frosted Gaming website (which you can see now since you’re reading this post). You can find all of our videos on both YouTube and Twitch right here on the site! Some of the sites newer features include a notification for when we’re live, improved mobile support, and a couple of other boring behind the scenes optimizations.
Joey (I) have also been working on a side project I’m calling Con Search Ninja. It’s website that can help you find upcoming conventions based around your location. It’s a great tool for finding your next con. The information provided is crowd sourced so the more users we have, the more information you can find! But don’t worry, all information is verified before being put on the official pages. It’s still in beta so I would love feedback on the project.
